The works from Sinoji adheres on inter-disciplinary art within the spirits of collaboration, cultural experience, and community building. At the end result, the works are also constructed to provoke audience interests’ to extend the participation of the idea.
As the initiator, I rely on my artistic and aesthetic approach in the direction and production of the works, providing balance between the beauty and the limitation of resources. The final products will sit on the periphery of contemporary art in the hopes to show to the world of the undiscovered rich art and cultural resources in Shenzhen .
Sinoji, literally means “any art activities related with China connection”. With this notion, Sinoji will create more awareness of China, and building relationship between people to people through art.
The Narrowest Bridge
The Narrowest Bridge is the title of the first art project that Sinoji produce. It is an interdisciplinary art form. The narrative belies on the premise: how far people can do for love. As an interdisciplinary art the works will combine media art, installation, dance and theater.
The Narrowest Bridge is written and directed by Bambang N Karim and features Lucia Mastrantone, Rongying Huang, and local artists from Shenzhen.
