The idea of mercy and justice – both are powerful virtues – often generates quandary when they exists in paradox. They are conflicted each other: should anyone absolve others for the wrong-doing in the name of mercy or let the justice works while the object might live beyond absolution and one’s heartache still prevails?
Eleos is the personification of mercy in Greek mythology. She walks down the beach and found the mistakes that drifted by water. She decided to clean it with compassion and mercy that she possesses, as one of the most useful virtue to human life in all its vagaries.
