This site is an outlet to showcase my art work, art experiments and my art activities.
Selecting an interesting and catchy domain name was my goal but on top of that I tried to accommodate the word “be” as it rhymes with my name.
It took me hours to check different domain name availability and find the right mix of words and letters before finally settling on “BE OR NOT BE.” The name has references to that famous expression, “to be or not to be” of Shakespeare’s work Hamlet. However, I don’t really know Shakespeare’s work well.
While cooking up the ideas for this site, I started to see a big picture of not limiting its function. I want the site to also function as resource for fellow artists in general and as a communication tool. So I added some features including posts of my own opinion on art and reviews of categorical themes, as well as some tutorials (found in Mirandised Divine section).
Most of the entries are presented a la blog style. And finally, there is a little room for some dialogue so I welcome any comments you want to make about what I’m doing with this beornotbe.com.
