My name is Bambang Nurcahyadi Karim.  I always introduce myself as BB, simple. There, in Indonesia, people call me Bambang (pronounced barm-barng). My name bears a striking similarity to the current Indonesia president, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

This site is an outlet to showcase my art work, art experiments and my art activities.

Selecting an interesting and catchy domain name was my goal but on top of that I tried to accommodate the word “be” as it rhymes with my name.

It took me hours to check different domain name availability and find the right mix of words and letters before finally settling on “BE OR NOT BE.” The name has references to that famous expression, “to be or not to be” of Shakespeare’s work Hamlet.  However, I don’t really know Shakespeare’s work…
