(From) The Highest Ground

From the highest ground,
I watch over you to shed the light of your darkest day,
for you always know,
I care less of what or who you are
I am just like your loving mother
I will accept prodigal or good son

From the highest ground
I see you like cypress pastures
always green and luscious
never stop asking impossible question
to the wind that blowing into the nowhere land

From the highest ground
I think of you like helpless small bird in the pouring rain
jumping from branch to branch
deter the flowers that about to bloom
always anxious and then fly to the other tree

From the highest ground
I see you like the wind that blowing calmly from far away
sneaking out in that alley,
then coming through the window that left opened ajar
Then touching my cheek, my lips, and my eyes

From the highest ground
you become my heart beat
that faithfully stay to fight this endless painful and sorrow
that never stop giving me answers of thousand secrets
that always writing beautiful poetry of my life

I love you, that’s what I want to shout from this highest ground
