The hardest part for me being far away from technology is to reach the availability of music. Technology enables me to gain access to music easily. I have more than 10,000 casettes and CDs back then when music is still presented in that form. Thank you to technology, now that I can take, give, cary, edit, and send it easily into many different format within most sophisticate carier. Talking about music gizmo, I had one gorgeoes Zen Creative with 80 GB capacity for my last birthday. I treasure it dearly.
My music collection are huge and varies. I have Christina Aguilera to Chopin, so to say that I have an eclectic taste in music. Of course when friends asking me “what is my favourite album of all time” I have an immediate answer for that.
My taste and knowledge in music is progressing, and I found that everyone or every musician has their own artistic reason behind their creation. Some are giving me impact some are not. Some enable to see the music some definately disposable.
My works are definately influenced by music. When I ran out of idea, I always put “Violator” by Depeche Mode or “Mezanine” by Massive Attack. It will straight away take my imagination to different level. Healthy solution I guess. It never stop to arouse my imagination. Music enables me to see life differently. So, that’s how I will start to talk about this thing.
To make things more organize, I will talk about music in an album form - maybe particular single, but I will try my best. In my criteria, a music album that can be categorized as music that changed my life are:
- Having more than 3 songs that I like. This is fair because sometimes I bought an album that only worth a penny because only one song is good
- Not “The Best Of “ or “The Greatest Of” unless it is 60 music where It was made in LP form
- The post won’t have any rating system, like “100 music of… “ or “Top 10...”
So, please following this series, maybe you and I can talk more about any album that I like and you like/don’t like.
